Elegy: Ideal Gases

Before I entrust these words upon you,

There's a vow you need to take,

Coz' once the dust settles,

Excuses are naught to be made.

After all to me,

Words maketh the man,

Sometimes we're called animals,

Coz' we have instincts,

But the other animals,

Show discipline& show compassion.

Yes?

Now then,

What are we?

It's your life,

You decide whatever you want to be.

But remember the right choice,

Would set you free,

Just like the gases,

We would never be,

As perfect&ideal,

But at least,

We've got common courtesy.

Elegy: Wings of Wonderment

I'll fly,

Into the unknown,

Once I spread my wings,

Into the fire I go,

If I flap even faster,

I might fan the flames,

Or will I alleviate my pain?

Random Lines

Mind if I chime in?

With a line or two so that I could fit in,

Couple more phrases this post might make actual sense,

Random like theme so you can't complain,

Tips tracks stacks slacks cheques thumb-tacks under attack,

There! A few more words randomly put in,

Not as impressive as the others as it's plain,

Unlike an oeuvre or epitaph you might think I'm insane,

It's just euphoria with random words thrown in,

If you're reading this, yes YOU, and you've got a proper grin,

Then you get what I'm sayin'!

6 feet under

Such is the weight of expectations on my shoulders,

I think by the time I collapse,

I'd plummet 6 feet under,

Resting,

Forever.

Finish Line

I'm jaded.
I've been at it since '09.
This is the finish line, yes?

Please let this be, please.
I just want to leave,
Be back home with my loved ones.

For I have stood the test of time,
And with that I acknowledge,
I have suffered mental beatings,
I'm battered, bruised,
For I now know,
I have paid my dues.

I know this should be it,
Because it's the day you'll rue,
For what is a man,
If naught a gallant fool.

Elegy :The Last Message

A wry smile,When I saw

A buzzing red light,The last message,

Twas cold,Mysterious,

As it shivers down my spine,

Then it all went quiet,

Only  buzz from the static,

A company through the night,

Faithful till sun glistens,

See you on the other side.

Elegy: Algoritma Kehancuran

Tiada selesai masalah dunia,

Asyiknya berdegar diruang maya,

Tidur kembali sang harapan,

Kenyang melantak helah insan,

Putarlah bumi pada paksinya,

Tetap tegak tamadun manusia,

Terpasak ditambat materialis,

Nun disana hilai tawa sang Iblis.

Kerja bodoh orang gila.

Qalbu mahukan dunia baru,

Tulang empat kerat malas berkerja,

Masa terbuang semakin singkat,

Tanah dikejar semakin mampat.

Hampar tikar,

Duduk bersila,

Tanggung dua biji kelapa,

Di atas kepala,
Tutup mata,
Dengar-dengarkan,

Gelak tawa satu dunia.

Elegy: The Road Not Taken

Sometimes I awake,

With thought that it is over,

Have I awaken from this vivid dream?

I need a remake,

A reboot,

A restart button to make it all go away.

The shades of discontent,

Scorched the surface of my present,

The past retaliating,

Clueless thought wonder,

Deep down it ponders,

How far along am I?

This road I'm on,

For what it is naught,

Albeit long filled with plot,

The end within sight,

Sweetness with a simmer of light,

For what is victory,

If naught without pain or fight.

Elegi : Menjelang Subuh

Kumandang sudah memecah kesunyian, 

Masih terpadam jasad bersemayam, 

Ruhnya sukar mencari jalan pulang, 

Kisah Subuh yang sudah hilang.

Pulanglah, wahai Ruh yang berkeliaran,

Agar dapatku berdepan bersama Tuhan!

Elegy : Gloaming Ray

Dusk of the day,

Subsides mysteriously away,

Birdsong numbed in array,

Conscious minds taught not to stay, 

For tomorrow's built upon yesterday!

Puisi Kerdil buat Baginda

Qalbuku penuh dimomok debu,

Ianya hitam lambang khilafku,

Tidak kusangka dapat mendekatimu,

Wahai Habibullah,

Kaulah yang kami rindu,

Saban tahun kami berselawat,

Kononnya kami beringat-ingat,

Kalam diulang ketika pemergianmu bagai hikayat,

Ummati,ummati pelbagai makna tersurat&tersirat,

Namun kami dibuai kealpaan akan ibrah pemergianmu,

Diakhir hayatmu masih dikau mengenang kami,

Kami yang lalai sekian hari,

Kami yang makin jauh dengan peribadimu,

Kami yang tidak pertahankan hadiahNya menjadi umatmu,

Tidak langsung pernah terlintas,

Aku yang kerdil,

Aku yang hina dina,

Dapat mengamati,

Walau sehelai peninggalanmu,

Qalbu ini tersemat dengan titisan insafi,

Qalbu ini mula menangis tidak terperi,

Aqalku merangkak cuba menyusun kalami,

Ya Rasulullah!

Daku ingin kembali,

Daku ingin mencari!

Hakikat cintamu sebenar yang pudar dimamah duniawi.

p/s: tak sangka terlepas aku melawat Tanah Haram, diberi hadiah menjulang Janggut Junjungan Mulia. Hari yang tidak akan sekali ku lupakan. Akan kusambung perjalanan Ibrahku dalam siri2 seterusnya dengan izin Allah.

Elegy: Hanyut

Tanpa kompas semulajadi,

Mengapai, tercungap tanpa ketetapan hati.

Adakah kompas semulajadi dalam diri?

Apakah ianya resmi hati?

Adakah ianya panggilan jujur dari minda sendiri?

Adapun ia patuh sejati lahir dari arahan Ilahi?

Semua kita pernah hanyut,

Dalam kancah dusta sendiri,

Terperangkap dalam durjana buatan diri,

Termakan kaki dek paku ditukul kendiri.

Waima berdarah,

Punya sifat legakan hati.

Semua kita punya tompok hitam di hati,

Bersihkan diri dengan harapan baru,

Dengan suntikan kalbu Quran disisimu,

Agama dipalu di benak hatimu,

Fikrahmu dahulu lebat berdebu,

Suci kembali niat bersatu!

Punah segala punca,

Hilang arah dalam karenah minda,

Cuba mengapai peluang kedua.

Aku pun begitu juga,

Suatu masa senantiasa dipalit dosa,

Kini mencari sinar keredhaanNya.

Banyak sungguh khilafku,

Kotor sungguh sejarahku.

Tutuplah pintu-pintu itu,

Bakarlah kisah hitammu,

Simpanlah bekas-bekas abu,

Buat pengajaran bagi masa depanmu,

Pengalaman membina kematangan kalbu.

Elegy: North Bound Highway

I remember,
The laughter,
The scarce cry for a future,
The purple covers craved after,
Searching eternal bliss forever.

We pondered,
5 hours non-squandered,
We gazed into the future,
Crashing thoughts,
Caught in a cluster,
North Bound Highway,
I reminisce altogether.

A sin now for sure,
Can't never conjure,
Bringing myself back together,
What in God's name am I doing here,
I believe its your call my dear,
It's His gift of uncalled pleasure,
Goodbye..ever after.

Elegy : Blank Pages

Clouds outside your bed,
Their shades grew again,
You've been gone for long,
We're back to square one,
The square is now none.

Are we long far gone?
You had to go with time,
I ran out of mine,
I had no more rhyme,
Going out of my mind.

These blank pages,
Intertwined ,
Let this be signs,
Of the us we sighs,
Is the us of demise.
